Read my latest flash fiction piece just in time for Halloween over at Spreading the Writer’s Word. Written using a picture prompt, this one takes place on the high seas during Halloween and something could be haunted…

Very pleased to be in Issue 4 of Outpost 28 print magazine put out by Dean Kuhta with my short story “Mia,” which was my first attempt at a LGBT+ character. It’s a sort of place/time slip and I did a lot of research into the African tribe of the Dogon as well as the star Sirius and it’s legends. My story is accompanied by a lovely illustration by Parisian artist and illustrator Michael Brack. The vibrant cover art below is by the creative and interesting artist Gunsho. It’s out in time for Halloween 2019, and you can order it off the publisher’s website here. Proceeds from this magazine goes to help the homeless. It has been so much fun to be a part of this Halloween Edition!
